I know I’ll always be taking my Yhetti, if not for a heavy hitter, but because he’s an imposing character on a somewhat crunchy team. Download your favorite STL files and make them with your 3D printer. I think the most fun part about playing Norse, and blood bowl as a whole, is that there’s a lot of strategies that work. Discover 3D models for 3D printing related to Blood Bowl. TLDR sorry I’m ranting, he’s my favorite player. I guess he didn’t like being called useless. I know what you’re thinking, that you won’t be seduced to the dark side, that you won’t give in to your aggression. Mighty Blow first levelup, Piling On the next. Starting with block, frenzy and jump up just screams to make him into a POMBer. That naked yeti ended up with 6 casualties that game. The Berserker is typically the killer of the Norse team. One game stand out in particular, I was playing a game against Norse in like my second tournament ever and this guy was telling me that a naked yeti was never worth it because he’s useless without block, and I should just opt to having an extra thrower. But I’ve also played in a few tournament games where my naked yeti was the reason why a stronger team didn’t steamroll me. With that being said, I’ve had games where I’ve rolled a wild animal on literally every single thing I tried to do (I find that my yeti likes it when I ask politely). I think for Norse especially having a strength 5 with claw is helpful because we’re outstrengthed and out armored by a lot of teams, we tend to need that big guy’s help to make plays. I blitz with the Ulfenwerners and then use the yeti as backup, if needed. Its nice to see Blood Bowl still getting updates and some of the classic teams receiving the new and upgraded plastic kits that they deserve. BUT, I think they look fantastic and might have just stolen the crown of 'cutest Warhammer animal' from that Warhammer Underworlds crab. In tournaments where I can’t feasibly afford block on him, I tend to use the yeti as the disturbing presence on my field, or to just get a few good hits in on the line. What do they do Well, we dont know that yet. So, I love my Yhetti! In the league I’m in, I rolled doubles a few times so he ended up with block, dodge, and mighty blow and he is basically a can opener. Also, Norse players die a lot so its kinda normal for the Yeti to come and go. I find having a full unit of Ulfs, Zerks, and a Yeti to be amazing at maximizing block dice, but it requires a lot of positioning finesse. JNorse teams have a well deserved reputation for ferocity both on and off the playing pitch.
